This Privacy Policy explains how All Docs - PDF Viewer & Editor ("we", "us", or "our")
handles user information when you use our mobile application available on Google Play and the Apple App
Store.
We believe that your personal and business documents are strictly your own. Our application is architected
to prioritize on-device document processing, offline functionality, and transparent data practices.
1. Document Files & Local Storage Access
Core Offline Processing
All Docs operates primarily as a local device utility. When you view, edit, annotate, convert, or manage files (including PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX, and TXT), all rendering and file modifications are performed directly on your device.
Storage Permissions
To display and organize your documents, the app requests access to read and write to your device's local storage (or photo/media library when importing images). We only access files necessary to deliver the document viewing and editing services requested by you.
Zero Document Uploads
We do not upload, copy, inspect, or transmit your document contents to our servers or any third-party servers. Your files remain on your local device unless you explicitly choose to share them via third-party services (e.g., email, messaging apps, or cloud storage providers).
2. Information We Collect
We do not require you to create an account, register, or provide personal identification details (such as your name, email address, or phone number) to use the core features of the app.
However, the app may collect limited, non-identifying technical information automatically through integrated third-party service providers:
A. Device & Usage Diagnostics
- What is collected: Device model, operating system version, anonymous app crash logs, performance metrics, and general session duration.
- Purpose: To debug crashes, optimize file-loading speeds, improve format rendering fidelity, and ensure app stability.
B. Advertising Identifiers (Free Tier)
- What is collected: Google Advertising ID (GAID) on Android or Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS (subject to your explicit App Tracking Transparency consent).
- Purpose: To serve non-intrusive advertisements in the free tier of the application.
C. In-App Purchase Data
- What is collected: Anonymous transaction tokens and subscription status.
- Purpose: To unlock Pro/Premium features (e.g., ad-free experience, advanced editing tools) across your devices via Google Play In-App Billing or Apple StoreKit. We do not store or process your credit card numbers or financial information.
3. Third-Party SDKs and Service Providers
We may partner with reputable third-party SDK providers to facilitate diagnostics, purchases, and advertising. These services handle data in accordance with their respective privacy policies:
- Google Play Services & Google AdMob: Google Privacy Policy
- Firebase Crashlytics & Analytics: Firebase Privacy & Security
- Apple App Store In-App Purchases: Apple Privacy Policy
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or document data to any third party.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Local Documents
You maintain total control over your documents. Deleting or modifying a file within the app directly alters the file on your local storage. Uninstalling the app removes all app-specific caches and preferences.
Analytics / Crash Logs
Aggregated, non-personally identifiable diagnostic logs collected by third-party services are automatically purged based on standard industry retention schedules (typically 90 to 180 days).
5. Children's Privacy
Our application is a general-audience productivity tool and does not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal data from a child without verified parental consent, we will take immediate steps to delete such data.
6. International Compliance & User Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including the European Economic Area under GDPR, the United Kingdom, or California under CCPA/CPRA), you have rights regarding your data:
- The right to access or know what technical data has been processed.
- The right to opt out of targeted advertising via your device settings (e.g., "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android or "Ask App not to Track" on iOS).
- The right to request deletion of any diagnostic data associated with your device identifier.
7. Security Measures
We implement industry-standard technical security practices to safeguard data integrity. Because all core document editing occurs strictly within the local device sandbox, your documents benefit directly from your device's native operating system encryption and security protections.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new features, SDK adjustments, or store regulatory updates. Any modifications will be posted directly within this document with an updated "Last Updated" date.
